During your visit I shall take a full health case history, I shall look at your tongue and I'll take your pulse and I'll explain what all this means. Chinese herbal medicine is rooted in the concept of pattern differentiation. Pattern differentiation involves identifying a person’s head-to-toe collection of signs and symptoms.
After discussing and analyzing the factors which contributed to your symptoms, I'll create the treatment plan and, depending on the severity of the main complaint, will decide how many weeks you'll need to take the herbs.
Are the herbs safe and free of pesticides?
Yes. The herbs are grown using the DaoDi concept, whereby they are grown in the right place and harvested at the right time, resulting in herbs that come from authentic places of origin.
Factors that contribute to DaoDi status are recognized as a combination of environmental factors (climate, soil, drainage, terrain), coupled with traditional cultivation and processing weather.
Are the herbs effective?
Yes. Chinese herbal medicine has thousands of years of data to back it up. Throughout history, Chinese emperors worked to preserve and multiply the knowledge of the previous ages. That means today we have almost 2,000 years of clearly written records about how herbs and herb combinations work in different people.
How many herbs will I take?
Depending on the condition treated, between 5-20 herbs.
How many days do I need to take them?
Between 7 - 30 days. In stubborn chronic conditions, 2 months.
How much do they cost?
The cost vary, depending on the number of the herbs and their individual price.
